I am a Water Resources Engineer, currently pursuing a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering (with a focus on Water Resources Engineering) at the University of Virginia, USA. My PhD research is focused on improving street-scale flood prediction by integrating physics-based models and physics equations with ML models for real-time transportation decision-making. My research specifically explores Surrogate Modeling, Transfer Learning, and Physics-Informed Machine Learning for street-scale nuisance flood forecasting in Norfolk, Virginia.
